L’istinto ha preservato la mia specie
L’istinto ha preservato la mia specie (Instinct Has Preserved My Species) is an exhibition that brings together the new sculptures of Luca Petti with the Fabio Frasca Collection, promoted by Attiva Cultural Projects in collaboration with the Museum of Natural History of Verona and Fonderia Artistica Guastini. Curated by Martina Campese, Letizia Mari, and Alberto Navilli, the exhibition explores species hybridization through Petti’s sculptures, which imagine symbiotic organisms blending animal and plant elements.
His works dialogue with six artists from the Fabio Frasca Collection, including Gaëlle Choisne, Aria Dean, Bri Williams, Irene Fenara, Grant Mooney, and Isadora Neves Marques, addressing themes of survival, memory, and the interconnectedness of life. The exhibition adopts a scientific museographic approach, evoking the Wunderkammern and transforming the project into a reflection on evolution and coexistence between species.
